The new face of Bollywood Deepika Padukone is a busy bee these days. She is overloaded with work and hardly finds time to spend with her beau Ranbir Kapoor. For months long, she is out of station, shooting in Bangkok for Chandni Chowk to China with Akshay Kumar and did not get free time to meet her boyfriend.

To spend time together in an isolate place apart from work, she even purchased a house close to Ranbir’s residence in Bandra but outdoor shooting restricts her from relaxing in her residence too. She has recently stepped into Bollywood but work is keeping her busy 24/7. Unable to bear the distance from his love for a long time, Ranbir also dropped on the set of Chandni Chowk to China to meet her.

After completing Chandni Chowk to China, she will be off to Venice to shoot a song with Ranbir in Siddharth Anand’s Bachna Eh Haseeno. Immediately after that she would be busy with Imtiaz Ali’s romantic film with Saif Ali Khan. Deepika is struggling between love and work. 365 days seems insufficient for her.

A Tamil right wing party, Hindu Makkal Katchi, has filed a complaint against actress Mallika Sherawat for not being properly attired for the event.

The two “Dostana” heroes had a pleasant break while shooting in Miami. First Abhishek Bachchan had wife Aishwarya Rai join him on their first wedding anniversary and then John Abraham had Bipasha Basu for company.

“It’s just for three days. My work got over on Monday in Switzerland, so I decided to rush to Miami to be with John before I went on to my next shoot,” Bipasha said, happy at the thought of finally seeing John after a month.

The Karan Johar-produced “Dostana”, being directed by Tarun Mansukhani, also stars Priyanka Chopra in the female lead.

Bipasha was shooting in Europe with Ranbir Kapoor for “Bachna Ae Haseeno”.

“I really enjoyed myself in the European summer. I had a super time shooting with Ranbir and my director Sid (Siddharth Anand). In fact, the entire unit was loads of fun. Italy was paradise. I enjoyed my time in Capri, Rome and Zurich.”

After her brief holiday in Miami, Bipasha rushes to Bangkok to join Neil Nitin Mukesh for a 40-day schedule of new-director Jehangir Surti’s “Freeze”.

Interestingly, in both “Bachna Ae Haseeno” and “Freeze”, Bipasha plays a woman slightly older than her co-stars.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan, who is currently on the judging panel of Zee TV’s reality show “Rock N Roll Family” along with his wife Kajol and mother-in-law Tanuja, is usually a calm and reserved man. But recently, he lost his cool and stormed out of the set of the show.

The actor lost his patience when the existing families in the competition objected to newly selected families who were made to enter the show as ‘wild card entries’.

“If you guys know best, then carry on. I will not tolerate a change of format halfway through the show,” Ajay said and left the set.

He was irked by the existing participants’ plea to alter the current format of the show.

He pulled Kajol along with him too.

“Rock N Roll Family” is a music and dance competition where three generations of family members participate. Initially, there were 12 families who participated in the show.

Brijesh from the Saxena family initiated the argument. He said: “It is unfair to introduce two new families at this stage of the competition. While we have struggled to reach this far in the competition, suddenly two new families will just have a cakewalk on the show.”

He also proposed the re-entry of those families who have already been eliminated.

Ajay reacted saying that even if the participants had any disagreements, they should have addressed it earlier.

He stated: “Whatever is happening will go on and whosoever has any problem should leave.”
