Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have made no bones about their relationship. They are very much in love and have no qualms flaunting it. However, that doesn’t mean that Deepiak is ready to talk about her past. To be more specific, Deepika would rather let bygones be bygones and not talk about her alleged affairs with M S Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh.

Perhaps, she feels, if Ranbir has forgotten her past and moved on, then what business does the media have in raking it up all over again. At a recent event in Delhi, she lost her cool at one such personal question and just walked out of the venue. Other stars present for the do like John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sameera Reddy were left flabbergasted at her behavior. However, they didn’t let it affect the event. Since the show must go on, the trio made it up to the audiences present. Is there a lesson to be learnt, Deepika?

Katrina Kaif has more hits than flops to her credit. Of these hits, most are films in which she was paired opposite Akshay Kumar. Last year, of the five hits that she delivered, four had Akki in the lead. It’s obvious that the Kats-Akki chemistry has gone down well with the audience. However, does the actress know how much is too much? Now that she has her forthcoming film ready for release, isn’t she nervous that being another Akshay flick, the audience might just get bored?

She says, “The reason why the number of films with Akshay is being noticed is that all of them were super successful, widely seen and acknowledged. Had they not worked, people wouldn’t have realized that I have done so many films with him. As long as people like my films with Akshay, I would love to do them. If they work, then why not?”

While she has full faith in her chemistry with the action king, she does realize that she needs to work with other actors as well. She reveals, “You have to have a balance. My next release will be with Ranbir Kapoor in a Rajkumar Santoshi film. Then I am doing a film with Salman and Anil Kapoor. Then there is a film with John Abraham.” She also commented on the hearsay that Yash Chopra has approached her for a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She laughs it off saying, “That’s a very nice rumour. You would have to ask him about that though.”

Rani Mukherjee has agreed to star in her brother, Raja’s debut Bollywood flick.

According to a source, “Raja isn’t only directing; he has also given inputs in scripting. Ishaan Dutta, who got his first break in Aditya Chopra’s Mohabbatein, writes the story. It’s a love story and is more like an urban DDLJ. The scripting is almost complete, and Javed Akhtar has been roped in for the dialogues. The movie is expected to go on floors early next year. Major portions of the movie will be shot in Bali. The first half of the movie is about travelling.”

The source further adds, “Raja’s first option is always Rani. He surely wants ghar ka talent. The male leads taken into consideration are Shahid Kapur and John Abraham. Priyanka Chopra is also the second option for casting.”

Ameesha Patel has moved from her big four-bedroom apartment in Juhu to a smaller two-bedroom apartment nearby. Sources close to her reveal that after her split with Vikram Bhatt and her parents, the actress was feeling too lonely in the big house and decided to move to a smaller place.

The actress has rented her big apartment bought the smaller one adds our source. Ameesha has her new man Kanav Puri dropping in frequently to make her feel comfortable too.

Salman and Katrina’s romance was going through a rough patch already as the actor, reportedly, had objections to the lady’s choice of films and her co-stars, and now the beau’s spat with Shah Rukh has given a final blow to their relationship. Industry sources say Katrina is in no mood to forgive Salman for his behaviour at the actress’ birthday bash which received unwanted media attention.

Reports reveal that after the actor’s fight with the King Khan, Sallu has been trying really hard to woo Katrina and get the love story back on track. But Katrina has got so irritated over his flattering attempts that she has stopped talking to him.

A well-placed source has revealed, “Katrina is blaming Salman for the entire episode. The lady believes that Salman, being the host of the evening (at her birthday), could have handled the situation more sensibly.”

Katrina seems to have grown over Sallu as the actress recently said that she doesn’t want to work with the actor anymore. The lady, however, justified her statement saying that she would now like to be paired with actors of her age.

Soha Ali Khan, Bollywood actress and sister of Saif Ali Khan do cares for her bro Saif. His happiness is her top priority and today she thinks herself the happiest sister on earth as her brother is leading a peaceful and content life with Kareena Kapoor. Soha commented on her bhabhi Kareena as, “The fact that Kareena loves my brother, and makes him really happy, is what I like about her. Kareena is great fun to be with. She takes a lot of efforts with my parents too. I wish her loads of happiness.”

Soha at the same time clear the air of doubts about her Southern heartthrob Siddharth, “Oh, I have been linked with my costars Abhay Deol and Shiney Ahuja too. But, there was no truth in it. I don’t like to discuss my personal life in public.” She broke off with Siddharth sometime back and now leading a single life.

In her forthcoming flick, Mumbai Meri Jaan, we will see Soha in the role of a journalist.

First he created an impact at the IIFA Awards when he introduced ‘Singh Is Kinng’ to Bangkok on stage. Then Akshay Kumar rocked the the Bachchan’s The Unforgettable show in Toronto when he came on stage in his ’sardar’ get-up to promote his upcoming release on August 7.
 
We are unofficially informed that the audience in Los Angeles (where Akshay has been shooting for close to a month with the likes of Sylvester Stallone and Kareena Kapoor) were so charmed by the Punjabi ‘munda’ that they rumouredly drove even Abhishek Bachchan to perform to the title track of ‘Singh Is Kinng’ during the Unforgettable show on July 26, of which Akshay was not a part.
 
The audience in LA kept screaming ‘Singh Is Kinng’ as they were missing Akshay, which supposedly drove the latter’s good friend, Abhishek to dance to the title track in good spirit to keep the audience amused.
 
Akshay attended a press conference of ‘Singh Is Kinng’ on July 25 at Hotel Hilton Universal City, organised by Studio 18 International. He is said to be attending yet another press conference to promote his upcoming release in Vancouver later this week.

Not surprising, ‘coz the party is a housewarming celebration for beau Raj Kundra’s new five million pounds mansion. If the festivities tend to get noisy, so what, the neighbours won’t mind. Not when there are Sir Cliff Richard and some international celeb football stars who are given to throwing boisterous weekend parties themselves.
By playing hostess for Raj, Shilpa is ensuring that the couple’s love story gets social acceptance from his friends and family. A source said, “This is a countryside mansion Raj bought to come and relax at with Shilpa. Otherwise Raj has another house in London itself where the couple will move into after they get married.”
But Shilpa, who met Raj in London after Big Brother, is not talking about marriage. So don’t expect a surprise announcement after the party. “There’s no immediate marriage plans,” Shilpa told BT. “I have a few commitments to wrap up first and will want to take it a little easy after marriage. Let me clear my plate which is full.”
