Rani Mukerji is no longer the star face of ‘Raga’
Adding to her woes of fast sliding star value and dearth of quality film projects to look forward to, another misfortune has come seeking Rani Mukerji.
Giving strength to the Bollywood fact that when you are on top everyone tires to be with you and in the time of trouble, it’s a desert on which you are standing alone, the watch company Titan has detached advertising ties with the B-Town Babe.
It can be naturally predicted that because Rani is not considered as a hot and happening heroine anymore, the company which gained mileage with the actress for its Titan Raga brand of watches has now decided to do away with her.
The explanation given by the company is that as the re-launch time is over for Titan Raga, the services of Rani are not needed.
There was a time after the stupendous success of ‘Black’ when Rani was everyone’s darling and now the situation has turned out to be just the opposite.
But Rani has in abundance the one strong and reliable advantage called natural talent to fight back and with just a super hit she may regain her lost ground soon.
Arshad-Maria to separate?
Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti, married for 10 years, are set to split. The news of trouble in their marriage has shocked the industry. Says a concerned mutual friend of the couple, “Arshad and Maria are having serious problems.
Arshad is a family-oriented guy. But unfortunately the family that Arshad so values has developed cracks. They’re staying together because of their kids who have no clue about the breach in their parents’ relationship. Maria has made it clear that she wants out. But Arshad will never let her leave their home.
He’s too much of a gentleman for that. Right now he’s leaving Mumbai for a long time. Once he returns, he hopes things will get better between them. Or he’ll look for accommodation elsewhere.”
According to our source, the trouble in the Arshad-Maria marriage had started long ago, but it’s only now that things have to come to a head.

Aishwarya speaks on life with Abhishek
Aishwarya Rai can’t stop gushing about her husband Abhishek Bachchan and says they share a special bond and she identifies a lot with him.
“I admire him for his approach to work. He understands cinema so well that he is not afraid of taking risks. He stands by his family, friends all the time and because of this I identify a lot with him,” Aishwarya told IANS in New Delhi on Saturday.
“I know him for a very long time now. Together we have grown from actors to colleagues to friends and now we share a very special bond. It is definitely a nice feeling,” she added.
Aishwarya, the brand ambassador of Swiss watch brand Longines, was in the national capital to open its exclusive boutique in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon.
Dressed in a one-shoulder lemon dress, the actress was in a chirpy mood.
She will soon be seen in Shankar’s Robot.

Salman is not my brother - Shahrukh Khan
In a recent interview post Eid to a leading website, SRK revealed that he does not consider Salman as his brother.
When asked wether he considers Salman as his brother, he replied, “No. I have an older sister, Shahnaz Lala, who lives with me. I only work with my colleagues and I love them all but I don’t make them my brother or sister. I have a wife, a sister and two children and they are my life.
My family does not harbour any ill will towards anyone. I love Karan [Johar] and Farah [Khan] and they are such people with whom I can make an emotional investment.”
When quizzed whether he wished Salman a happy Eid, he said, “I wish everyone happy Eid. Wishes are not for an individual but for everyone. “
