Bipasha Basu agrees to go back to Kashmir, shoot of Lamhaa is back on

Bollywood hot-bod Bipasha Basu has agreed to return to Kashmir for the shoot of Lamhaa, it has been reported.

Apparently, Bipasha agreed to go back after hearing rumours of filmmaker Bunty Walia replacing her with Vidya Balan. Bipasha was not happy with the security arrangement in Kashmir and had packed her bags, rapidly leaving the shoot early in November.

Bunty confirmed the news and said, “Yes we are going to Kashmir in January 2009. Bipasha got scared in Kashmir as the crowd gathered there became uncontrollable. They were overwhelmed to see stars like her and Sanjay Dutt shooting in their midst. That’s the reason Bipasha left from Kashmir without even informing us.

Describing the terror attacks on Mumbai as a blow to the city’s spirit, singer Lata Mangeshkar said that she never felt so disturbed in life and almost wept 300 times in the last three days.

“I can’t express my emotion in words. I never felt so disturbed in my life. I have been watching TV constantly for the last three days wept and 300 times,” the legendary singer told PTI.

While adding that the attack is on Mumbai’s spirit, she said, “I had a premonition that after Gujarat and Delhi, Mumbai could be the next target. Even I discussed it with my family members. I never imagined something like this can happen.”

Sonali Bendre, who is currently seen on television as a judge on music reality show ‘Indian Idol’, says she won’t be returning to Bollywood any time soon as her son needs her more than the film industry.

‘Nothing will make me come back to films. My three-year-old needs me more. I want to be home for my child. I’m definitely not looking at a commitment that will take me away from home,’ said Sonali.

A source from the sets of ‘Indian Idol’ said that Sonali is the first one to zip out of the studio to her little one as soon as shooting wraps up.

All SRK fans who were eagerly waiting for a sequel to Don are all set to be disappointed, as the lead actors of the movie don’t have time for the sequel.

Priyanka the lead actress of Don says,“I think the sequel is a little far now. I don’t think it will start soon. Everyone involved in the project is pretty busy now I think with other work.”

A source reveals, “Farhan is busy with Luck By Chance in which he is acting and also with his next directorial film Voice From The Sky. So, as of now Don 2 is not starting.”

“Shah Rukh too is very tied up now. He has to look after the promotions of his own production Billoo Barber, then he will do Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan and then move over to his another production Happy New Year which Farah Khan will direct. He is also busy with his animation film Ravan. He does not have time for Don 2 at the moment but yes as everyone knows Shah Rukh is ready to act in the sequel.”

Well as Priyanka said, Don2 is really really far away, it might be ready in 2010 I guess.

Five years in the Bollywood industry and Katrina Kaif has finally arrived as an actress after her wonderful performance in Yuvraaj.

Katrina reveals how she overcame her weakness, her language to conquer Bollywood,she says, “When I started, people were not only writing me off for my strong British accent, there were many others who tried to prevent me from making it till here. They didn’t do so in an aggressive or excessive manner, but they used to say things like ‘I don’t know…’ and ‘I’m not sure…’ that would suggest a not-so-positive approach towards me. But I proved myself ultimately.

She explains, “I always try and push myself to exceed expectations. I use this ideology in a positive way.”

Zayed Khan kisses for the first time on screen in Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraaj. And the lip-locking girl is Amrit Maghera.

Shivers Zayed, “Firstly I’ve never done intimate scenes like these on screen. I’m a family man with a wife and son. And to watch the scenes with my parents at the premiere gave me the shivers. What would they think?! On top of it all it was our marriage anniversary. What a gift for my wife!”

Fortunately Zayed’s wife Malaika was quite ‘cool’ about her husband’s dedication to the craft. So Zayed could exhale.

It took all of the Showman’s persuasive powers to convince the young Khan (belonging to an extended family of reputed ladies’ men) that a lip-to-lip is very much the order of the day…or shall we say, the odour of the Friday, going by the legion of lip locks we’ve lately witnessed in our films.
