A multitude of actors from the Hindi fraternity have managed to have a wax figurine of themselves added to the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Amitabh Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have individually been measured and wax figures have been tailor made to look like the real actors! In fact, the most recent addition from India to join the rest of these actors includes none other than cricketing maestro Sachin Tendulkar.
However, while all the actors have their loyal fans who flock to see them and click photographs with them, it is not other than Salman Khan who is known for being the most kissed actor at the wax museum amongst the Bollywood crew. According to the spokesperson at Madame Tussauds, “Salman beats all the Indian personalities in popularity charts…he is the most kissed and most photographed amongst the lot.” Khan joins the likes of Hollywood’s Justin Timberlake who is the most hugged at the museum.

Shilpa Shetty who owns the Rajasthan Royals decided to stay put in South Africa to cheer her team on instead of voting in India like Srk. Interestingly, the actor may have decided to skip the voting season, but that did not stop her from advising others to exercise their franchise.
“Just regret the fact that I won’t be in India to cast my vote, really wanted to this time. Elections have to be taken seriously if you are a responsible citizen,” Shetty who co-owns the team with billionaire fiance, Raj Kundhra wrote on her blog. Shetty also posted a video of herself on her official website asking everybody to exercise their right to vote, saying, “Please go vote and make a difference”.
“Unfortunately with the unexpected turn of events and the IPL being shifted to SA it’s become difficult. I would not miss voting for anything otherwise. But to all those Indian citizens who want the best for our Country, now is the time to make the decision, don’t waste your democratic right to choose,” wrote the actor.

Sneha Ullal has confirmed she will be involved in Upendra’s latest London Gowda. Better known for her Tollywood movies, what persuaded Muscat-born Sneha to opt for this? “I was kind of avoiding Kannada films for a while, mainly because I was busy doing Telugu films. But I liked Upendra’s script and I had the dates available for the film,” she says.
Now firmly entrenched in South cinema, does the Lucky, No Time for Love actress Sneha miss her Bollywood friends, Salman Khan in particular? “I just met him a couple of days ago. He still advises me on my work and that’s very sweet of him,” she confirms.
Sneha has one major ambition in life – to start an animal sanctuary and hospital. “I can’t tolerate cruelty to animals, birds or any living creature,” she says, “I have taken a vow to spread vegetarianism as best as I could. If I get sufficient money, I will start a hospital for the animals. I love them like I love human beings. Everybody is equal in the eyes of God.”

Preity Zinta’s plans for a grand TV debut have been thwarted by none other than Aishwarya Rai. The Zinta babe is no longer part of TV show ‘India’s Got Talent’, which is the Indian adaptation of popular show ‘America’s Got Talent’.
Preity was earlier in negotiations with the makers of the show, which like its original version, will be a talent hunt show where all the contestants will be showing off their respective skills – be it dancing, singing, stand-up comedy etc.
According to sources, Preity was supposed to do the show and both the parties had, in fact, zeroed in on the money too. She was apparently getting an amount almost close to Rs 5 crore, but it was the delay of Indian Premiere League, which is apparently Preity’s first priority, that failed the talks.

It seems the relationship between Bollywood’s young heart throbs couple is going through tough times. But being the good actors that they are, they are not making it visible on their cute faces. We are talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
