Karan Johar’s birthday party was a place of patch ups, first it was SRK and Ash who became friends then it saw the grand reunion of Kareena Kapoor and Ash. Kareena Kapoor, who was in the capital for the International Cricket Council (ICC) news conference, had not been on talking terms with the Bachchans eversince Abhishek’s relationship with Bebo’s Karisma Kapoor ended a few years ago.

Ash and Kareena were reportedly seen laughing, giggling, whispering and behaving like two long-lost friends. Ash and Bebo also hit the dance floor together.

It was reported earlier that Abhishek, who had made his debut with Kareena in Refugee, had refused films with her, prompting the emotional girl to react angrily and defiantly.

Sonam Kapoor is the next guest on Koel Puri’s chat show Couch with Koel and she talks about everything under the sun including the Cannes incident.

A source from the sets says, “Koel got straight to the chase and asked Sonam what she felt about the Cannes disaster. Sonam initially hesitated, then came the all- telling response: “I don’t want to remember it as it is not a pleasant thing to recall.”

Koel who wasn’t impressed with her answer branded her as a diplomatic, to which Sonam replied, “But I am always diplomatic, I have never been not diplomatic.”

But Koel further pressed on the Cannes issue and branding herself as the young face of L’Oreal, to which with irritation she replied, “I say it as I see it!”

Apparently its the most open interview that Sonam has done till date.

Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ doomed at the box-office but she was so much liked by filmmaker Rakesh Roshan especially her stunt sequence that he has decided to rope the dusky beauty for ‘Krrish 2’ opposite beta Hrithik Roshan.

However, a close source reveals, “After the success of ‘Krrish’, the Roshans decided to go ahead with the sequel of the movie. Their first priority was to finish with ‘Kites’ and then work on ‘Krrish 2’. ‘Kites’ is almost done and is in the post-production stage. Rakesh Roashan`s production house FilmKraft is working on ‘Krrish 2’. They are at an infant stage and still working on script and the star cast, but it obviously includes Hrithik as the actor.”

The source maintained, “The layout of the script is ready and it will see Hrithik in a superhero avatar once again. He will be seen saving the Seven Wonders of the World, so naturally the film will be shot extensively at various foreign locations. Hrithik will undergo physical training once again for the role. Like the prequel, this too will have SFX and a big crew of foreign technicians.”

Karan Johar’s birthday party puts an end to Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s dushmani. They came, attended the party and became friends thereby putting an end to the year’s long rivalry. The two has been sharing a bitter relationship from the days of ‘Chalte Chalte’ after King Khan dropped Ash and signed Rani Mukherjee. Their relationship further damaged when SRK and his family were not invited to Ash-Abhi’s wedding.

Their relationship finally came to an end after SRK passed unceremonious comment against Aishwarya during Katrina’s birthday bash. After that very event, the Bachchan family had almost cut ties with Shahrukh. On Monday night, when Shahrukh with family and Ash with hubby Abhishek came across, SRK extended olive branch to Ash and apologized to her for the wrong.

With an unusual name, Asin has had people pronouncing her name in various ways and the actress is often amused by it.

People have even come up to her and asked her if that’s her real name. Asin says, “Asin means without sin.

It’s a mix of English and Sanskrit. And yes, it is my real name, not a screen name. You can give credit to my parents who came up with such an unusual name. It’s their creativity.”
