Acting is her priority, but Sonali Kulkarni says that she would love to go behind the camera and direct a film.
“I see myself directing a film in the future. Right now I feel more like an actor so I don’t want to venture into that domain. But that is something in my mind which I would like to give shape sometime soon,” Sonali told IANS.
At the moment the actress, who is known for her roles in films like “Mission Kashmir”, “Dil Chahta Hai” and “Pyar Tune Kya Kiya”, among others, is upbeat about her releases this year, which include “Mohandas”, “Rock Shock”, “The Man” and “Camp”.

We have known Katrina Kaif’s charitable acts much before her superstardom. Haven’t we all seen her come forward for Salman Khan Foundation’s Being Human?
The actress has taken it upon herself to help her mother Sussana’s Mercy Home set up prenatal care centre and will be giving out some of her much admired attires, accessories and personal belongings in an auction in Chennai.
Here’s a chance for all those who have loved the sexiest woman’s belongings to go grab them. However trust us; it would be very light on your pockets. The actress wants to gather about 50 lakh, which would help set up the centre. Well, well you gotta pay a price to own one of her priced possessions after all; it’s Katrin Kaif we’re talking about.

Akshay Kumar seems to be quite defensive about his much awaited flick ‘Kambakkht Ishq’. While promoting the film recently, the actor grabbed the opportunity to clarify that the presence of Hollywood bigwigs in the film is certainly not for creating hype, but is the need of the script.
Akki says, “I play a stuntman from Hollywood in the film and presence of these actors was essential. They were the need of the story to take my character forward in the film.”
“Sharing space with Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone in the film was the most memorable experience. He told me about his knee problems and how he overcame his fear with heights to act in the movie `Cliffhanger`,” Akshay added.

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court today directed a judicial magistrate to inquire into a complaint filed against Sushmita Sen for allegedly making “obscene and derogatory comments” on chastity in October 2006.
Setting aside a lower court order dismissing a complaint by an advocate seeking police action against Sen, a former Miss Universe, Justice A Selvam directed that the inquiry be held for offences under various sections of Indecent Representation of Women Act 1986 and Young Persons (Harmful Publications) Act 1856 among others.
The judge rejected the contention that there was no basic material for the allegations made against the 33-year-old actress.
The petitioner, S Greesh Kumar, had alleged that Sen’s comments aired by all prominent English news channels on Oct 6, 2006 and also carried by a Tamil daily, had “degraded” the moral fabric of India.

After portraying an unconventional character in Pankh, the actress is yet another working with director Sudipto Chattopadhyaya. This time Bips would be playing a prostitute living in Kolkata’s largest red light area called Sonagachi.
In the movie, Bipasha nurses a child, who is a victim of pedophilia. Sudipto is leaving no stones unturned to make his movie as realistic as possible. The grapevine suggests that the filmmaker has roped in some real-life prostitutes who will play themselves in the movie.
Pankh narrates a story about a little boy in the film industry who masquerades as a girl to become a child star but later faces an identity crisis and eventually turns into a drug abuser.
