The Malayalam film, which was originally to be made in Hindi by Boney Kapoor, will now be produced by Atul Agnihotri after Salman personally asked Boney to hand over the reins to his beloved brother-in-law.

Priyanka Chopra banned from using Twitter!

priyanka chopra Priyanka Chopra banned from using Twitter!Priyanka Chopra is currently banned from posting on twitter. No, she has not broken any rules at the social networking website but it is all owing Sajid Nadiadwala who has told her to refrain from posting any kind of information.

This critical decision had to be taken after the producer saw a constant inflow of pictures and information of his film Anjaana Anjaani being put up on Twitter. So he took a bold step and asked both Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor to stop tweeting.

Both the stars are active on micro-blogging site especially Piggy Chops.

Confirming the news, Sajid told a daily, “I actually took the decision to forbid my cast and crew from putting any information on websites after an incident that happened with Sajid Khan, my director of ‘Housefull’.

We were doing a photo-session with the film’s stars. We weren’t even finished and Sajid Khan had already put one of the pictures on the site. I was horrified. That’s when I decided it was time to make the confidentiality clause a legal issue in all my contracts.”

vivek oberoi I lost my first love to cancer Vivek OberoiVivek Oberoi says he lost his childhood sweetheart to cancer when he was 18. ‘When I was just 18, I lost my first love. My childhood sweetheart since the age of 13 died of cancer,’ he wrote on his Twitter page.

The actor, who is the brand ambassador of Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), says by helping those who cannot afford treatments he feels he’s honouring his late girlfriend. ‘Every time I help CPAA, spend time with the patients going to the hospitals on Rose Day or celebrate my b’day with terminally ill children, I feel I am honouring her memory,’ he added.

‘I was devastated when I lost her, but by helping save the ones who can’t afford the treatment and medicines, I feel she’s alive in their smiles. ‘My mother taught me – the best way to honour the memory of someone you’ve loved and lost is to reach out and ease someone else’s pain and misfortune,’ wrote the actor who is associated with the CPAA for eight years.

minisshaMinissha Lamba admits her ultra-glamorous look in “Kidnap” opened a whole new range of opportunities for her. But the young actress, who will be seen in Shyam Benegal’s new film, feels that at the end of it talent plays an important role.

“My looks in ‘Kidnap’ helped open a whole new and different range of opportunities for me. It is something I cherish. Being good looking is important, but not always. You need talent as well. If you have talent, people accept you regardless of the way you look,” Lamba told IANS over telephone from Mumbai.

She also feels being short is not a disadvantage in the film industry.

“If you are a model, having height is imperative, but cinema is a medium where it doesn’t matter. You are on a platform where being tall or short loses relevance,” she said. After her glamorous avatar in “Kidnap”, Minissha will be seen in a non-glamorous role in Benegal’s forthcoming film, “Well Done Abba”.

“At first I was really scared to work with Mr. Benegal. But once we started shooting, he turned out to be a really calm, jovial and humorous person. We never saw him upset on the sets,” she said.
