Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has planned a surprise trip for his wife’s birthday June 8.

An ecstatic Shilpa wrote on her blog: “Glad Raj is back to celebrate my 1st birthday after marriage on the 8th of June. He has instructed my manager to keep 7th, 8th, 9th free to surprise me with a break (Yes, he’s full of surprises! He’s made arrangements for a trip but I have no idea where to… too sweet, all very exciting).”

Meanwhile, the actress re-lived her good old filmi days during the shooting of dance reality show “Zara Nach Ke Dikha” when the female participants paid tribute to her by performing on her songs.

“The girls performed on a medley of my songs for an act and in similar costumes that I wore in my songs… made me very nostalgic and brought back some beautiful memories that made me a tad bit emotional (don’t know why) in a good way,” she added.

The Kaliyon Ka Chaman girl Meghna Naidu, Shawar Ali and Tarun Arora are the playing the main characters in Star Dreams Hindi feature film LOVE & SEX. It’s produced by Mahendra Dhariwal and directed by Karan.

Meghna and Shawar are playing husband wife. Tarun Arora enters into Meghna’s life and the relationship goes physical. What happens later in their life is shown in the film? It deals about extramarital affairs.

If the film director is to be believed Meghna has given very bold scenes. The film has five songs by music director Daboo Malik. Film is ready to release by the end of June 2010.

The beauty queen who rules million hearts is now been ruled by something else. The serene beauty has found love in online shopping. “Yes I’m in love,” she announces, “I’ve fallen in love with… online shopping! Believe me it gives me the pleasure to do what I just can’t in Mumbai. To buy stuff without being stared at or people approaching me”, quips Kat.

The most she enjoys ordering is clothes. “So far I could only shop abroad. And that in places where there weren’t too many Indians. And I’d be so tense about making the best of those rare opportunities to shop away from home that I’d forget everything I wanted to buy”.

Katrina recently shifted to her new home and she is busy filling her home with furniture and other accessories. “I had to depend on my mom or my sisters to get me stuff for my home. If you see my home you’ll see it is really bare ¦ almost functional. Now that’s changing.” Kat chirps, “It’s amazing how much happiness you can buy by simply doing your own shopping.” She has never hosted party at her home but now she wants to arrange a party and invite all her friends.

The bombshell beauty Bipasha Basu, who is present in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to attend the IIFA awards, revealed that she is missing the company of her beau, John Abraham.

Dressed in a golden short dress, while going for the fashion extravaganza during the IIFA weekend here Thursday, Bipasha was asked whether she is missing the Bachhcan family, a regular at the event, this year. To this the actress quickly responded that she misses her boyfriend more.

‘I miss John. He is one person, whose company I miss the most here, not anyone else’s,’ she said. Bipasha, who walked the ramp in the look that she will be sporting in her forthcoming film ‘Lamha’, will also be performing at the awards night Saturday.

Preity Zinta pleasantly surprised friend Hrithik Roshan when she complimented him for his performance in “Kites”, which has got a drubbing at the box office.

“Hey Duggu! You looked like a god in ‘Kites’! Sigh! Saw it today! You did a great job in the movie,” Preity posted on Hrithik’s Twitter page.

Hrithik replied saying: “Hey Pree! Courageous of you complimenting me for ‘Kites’! But don’t say it too loud, somebody might hear you.”

The two have been great friends and even worked together in films like “Mission Kashmir” and “Koi… Mil Gaya”.

Preity consoled Hrithik saying: “My darling, films fail, actors don’t! Have always been proud of you since ‘Mission Kashmir’ as you are one of the brightest stars on this horizon.”
