A handicapped woman has lodged complaint against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for using her photograph with him to promote his recently released movie ‘Veer’.Phoolbanu Shaikh, 30, is seeking Rs 25 lakh as compensation from the actor. She has also denied reports that Salman had donated Rs one lakh to her.

Shaikh’s lawyer Iqbal Solkar told that the Non Cognisable (NC) offence was registered in V P Road police station recently against the actor for using her physically challenged client’s picture to promote his movie ‘Veer’.

According to Phoolbanu, when she wished to meet Salman, her sister and sister-in-law took her to the residence of the actor to fulfil her wish in March last year.

“But we were told that the actor would be available at Mahboob studio in Bandra shooting his film the next month.

Aishwarya Rai is in no mood to forgive and forget the derogatory rumors about her that were fabricated and published by Mumbai Mirror. Aishwarya according to the tabloids fake news was apparently suffering from stomach TB which is hampering her efforts towards conceiving.

Aishwarya Rai was supposed to perform at an award function, but backed out once she got to know that the Mumbai Mirror is associated with the awards show.

In a bid to lure Aishwarya, the organizers were willing to pay her 85 lakhs, however Aishwarya refused the money and said, “Main nahi nachhongi no matter how strong the lure of lucre.”

Aishwarya is demanding an apology from Mumbai Mirror, however they haven’t apologized to her yet.

Indian beauty Freida Pinto is going places. After bagging a role in Woody Allen’s film, the Slumdog Millionaire actress is set to portray a Greek priestess in War of the Gods.The film, about the Greek mythology, will be directed by Tarsem Singh and begins production in April.

The story revolves around a young warrior Theseus who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil and the powerful elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind, Variety reported online.

Pinto, 25, will portray Phaedra, an oracle priestess who must join Theseus, played by Henry Cavill of The Tudors fame. Phaedra joins Theseus to prevent the cataclysmic war from erupting.

The film will be produced by Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang Prods, Mark Canton of Atmosphere Entertainment and Relativity topper Ryan Kavanaugh. Nunnari and Canton partnered on 2007’s ‘300′, which starred Gerard Butler in the lead.

Kareena Kapoor has great plans for her wedding, she wants a grand wedding and definitely wants to look the best on her wedding day, but right now marriage is no where on her agenda.

Talking about recent rumors about her secret Nikaah with Saif, she says, “We have been together for two-and-half years now. We are very happy. Marriage will happen, but it hasn’t happened. At some point, we are going to settle down but we don’t know when. And catch me doing anything secretly! Anything about my life has been so much in the open. Why would I break my record and go have a hush-hush wedding? I am the last unmarried Kapoor girl in the family and I want a grand wedding… I want to be a beautiful bride but right now, I am too busy being a bride on the big screen.”

When tell her that Saif is ready to get married, but is only saying no because he doesn’t want to destroy her blooming career, she says, “That’s why I love him so much more.”

Generally Salman Khan does anything to keep his words. But for a change this time Mr. Generous didn’t seem to live up to his title and broke many hearts. Yes, Salman broke the promise given to Hijra guru and social activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi of lending his gracious presence as one of the jury members of Indian Super Queen, a beauty pageant for Hijra community.

Laxmi Narayan Tripathi fumed and sarcastically remarked without taking any names, “I don’t understand why celebrities have to make false promises when they don’t mean a word. It’s disheartening to know- celebrities find ‘cycling race’ more important than something which is so socially relevant.” Laxmi surely pointed towards the superstar, for Salman was reportedly present at a cycling race earlier.

Laxmi came up with these words soon after ever-beautiful Zeenat Aman exclaimed that she couldn’t refuse Laxmi after the latter invited her to be one of the jury members in such a historical and socially relevant occasion.
