Ranbir-Katrina to star in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rock Star’

After winning accolades for their remarkable on-screen chemistry, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are all set to come together again in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming venture ‘Rock Star.’
High on the success of ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, Ranbir and Katrina have become the hot pair in Bollywood. According to latest Bollywood news, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are all set to revive their jodi in Imtiaz Ali’s much awaited project ‘Rock Star.’

It is believed that ‘Rock Star’ passed through the hands of many B-town rock stars. Incidentally, Imtiaz first offered the film to John Abraham. When things did not materialize, the director offered the same to Saif Ali Khan. However, both Saif and Imtiaz did ‘Love Aaj Kal.’

Meanwhile, during the making of ‘Love Aaj Kal’, Rishi Kapoor was so impressed by the young director that he wanted him to work with Ranbir.

Talking to a news daily, a close source said, “Imtiaz and Ranbir met many times in the past few months and discussed several projects. But it was ‘Rock Star’ that Ranbir liked the best.”

Grapevine has it that Ranbir will be learning guitar for ‘Rock Star’ as soon as he finishes with ‘Anjaana Anjaani.’

Talking about the film, the source further added, “Ranbir will go all out to prepare for his part as a rock star. He wants to look every inch the part. That includes the sinewy muscled physique and expertise with the guitar strings.”
