Sonam Kapoor loves dad’s performance in Slumdog

Well while daddy Kapoor doesn’t dry his mouth praising daughter Sonam Kapoor, the daughter is also leaving no stone unturned to praise her daddy who was recently seen in Oscar nominated flick Slumdog Millionaire.

Speaking about Anil’s performance, Sonam says, . “My dad’s performance was excellent and my dad is the best game show host.”

She also talks about losing the best debut award last year to Deepika Padukone, “Awards are important and it was important for me to win one for Saawariya. I was quite upset that I didn’t get the award,” she says.

However she doesn’t want the two of them to be compared, as both of them are sticking to a different kind of cinema, she says, “Deepika is mostly doing commercial roles while I’m not. I wouldn’t sign a film for an ornamental role or just to look pretty. Ek achhi film ban ne mein ek saal to lagta hi hai. That’s why I am being seen lesser than her.”
