AamirAs Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Ghajini vye to capture audience attention, it is once again the clash of titans at the Box-Office.

Both Shah Rukh and Aamir claim their right to stardom’s ace seat. But as far as Three Idiots which incidentally is what Aamir’s next film is called, is concerned the actor says the title should go to the three Khans of Bollywood.

“My next film Three Idiots will have me playing the character of an idiot along with Sharman and Madhavan but Shah Rukh Khan, Salman and I are the three idiots of the film industry,” Aamir joked on a tour to the capital to promote Ghajini.

The actor tried to avoid questions from the fans about the infamous fight between Shah Rukh and Salman. “Fight! how can I dare to fight with Shah Rukh. He is a very good friend and I have a lot of respect and love for him.”

amir Aamir Khan graces Tata-Ghajini media meetAamir Khan graced the Tata Indicom -Ghajini media meet that was held in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Ghajini has been directed by A.R. Murugadoss and is produced under the Geetha Arts banner by Allu Aravind. Releasing on December 25, 2008 in India, it stars Aamir Khan, Asin and Jiah Khan in lead roles.

Ghajini is a remake of the 2005’s Tamil film of a same name. The Tamil version is based on Christopher Nolan’s Hit Memento (2000). Ghajini is a romantic action thriller that explores the life of a once-rich businessman who suffers from short term memory loss following a violent encounter. Parts of the film were shot in the Deadpan Desert of Namibia and in Cape Town, South Africa.

aamir2403_1 Aamir Khan Eyes Oscars AgainAamir Khan’s directorial debut Taare Zameen Par has been chosen to represent India at the next year’s Oscar awards.

The movie, starring child prodigy Darsheel Safary , beat other contenders like Jodhaa Akbar , A Wednesday , Mumbai Meri Jaan , Rock On , Black And White , two Marathi films and one Telugu movie to secure an entry to the 81st Annual Academy awards.

This is how a delighted Aamir Khan responded to the news of the movie’s selection: “It is a film that is extremely close to my heart. It first sensitised me as a parent and as a person and then went on to have the same effect on the audiences in India and across the globe.

“I hope that it has an equally strong impact on the members of the Academy as well,” Aamir, who is shooting in Ladakh for Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots , is quoted as saying.
