Bebo is all set to play the role of a sex-worker in Sanjay Leela Bhansali next flick, Heera Mandi. The film will star Abhishek in the lead opp Kareena. Sanjay and Bebo were looking forward to work together from a very long time but due to personal and professional reasons their plans fell apart every time.

Bhansali will start working on the film as soon as he wraps up Guzaarish which has Hrithik Roshan and Aishwaya Rai in lead. In fact, the buzz also suggested that Bhansali, who is quite impressed with Hrithik’s work in Guzaarish, might sign him for the project. But sources claim that Abhi is a strong contender to play the film’s lead actor.

Kareena made her debut with Abhishek in the year 2000 with the movie Refugee and later they were seen together in Sooraj Barjatya’s film Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon in the year 2003.

It has virtually been a case of jumping from the fire into the water for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.If fire is a recurrent motif in the cinema of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, water seems to be Mani Ratnam’s favourite element.

According to members of the cast in Raavan more than 80 percent of the film has been shot in, under, around or below rain and water in the forests, rendering Raavan the most hydro-centric film in the history of Indian cinema.

Says a member of the cast, “We were drenched to our skin constantly. Abhishek and Aishwarya were talking dancing singing reciting poetry in the water.”

Abhishek’s character of the outlaw even proposes to Aishwarya in the water.

According to a source, there comes a point in the plot where a cop’s wife begins to get attracted to the outlaw who kidnaps her.He proposes to her circling in the water instead of around the holy fire while Aishwarya stands at the river bank.

With the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, only three days away, football enthusiasts are gearing up to fly there to see the exciting matches and one of them is our very own Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek is planning to attend the finale on July 11th revealed papa Bachchan.

“There is keenness for a group that wishes to be there (World Cup) in the midst of it all to feel the punch of entertainment and game. My home enthusiasts … well just one … Mr. Abhishek Bachchan has expressed his absolute desire to be there for the final,” Amitabh posted on his blog.

The 2010 tournament is the 19th FIFA World Cup. The premier international football tournament is scheduled to start on June 11th 2010.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are likely to skip the IIFA Weekend to be held in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo next month. Aishwarya who is back from shooting in Chennai with Rajnikant for “Robot” will travel to Paris in the first week of June.

“She is going for a Longines (international watch brand which the actress promotes) commitment to Paris where she will be attending the French open,” her spokesperson said.

Abhishek’s spokesperson said the actor will be shooting for Abhinay Deo’s “Game” in Istanbul. Abhishek’s father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of IIFA since the event began ten years ago. There are speculations that the Big B too may give the event a miss this year following two incidents of demonstrations by some Tamil groups in Mumbai outside his home to protest against the choice of IIFA venue.

However, Bachchan has not made any statement about his schedule so far. The IIFA is scheduled to be held from June 3 to 5 in Colombo.

The news are doing the rounds about the patch up between Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan. Grapevine has it that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s hubby Abhishek and her ex-lover Salman have apparently put an end to their animosity, as Abhi was recently found supporting Sallu on a social networking site.

Jr Bachchan and Sallu have not been on talking terms because of Ash, who was dating Salman before tying the knot with Abhishek, and the actress’ love relationship with Khan was a much-hyped affair in itself.

However, according to the latest buzz, Abhishek seems to be in a mood to bury the hatchet with the macho guy, as he stood up for Salman on a social networking platform when a misinformed journo attacked the latter for doing a hosiery advertisement. The journalist had reportedly stated that “big league heroes don’t sell undergarments”. But despite the fact that Salman apparently chose to ignore the statement by not responding to it, Abhishek promptly pitched in to defend Salman.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are pretty famous to make their lovey-dovey appearences before public but despite making such efforts, the couple lost out to actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif when it came to name the ‘Hottest Bollywood couple of the decade’.

Of the total 38, ooo in an online poll, Sallu-Kats grabbed almost 36 percent of the total votes leaving Abhi-Ash to 27 percent of the same. Actors Bipasha-John scored almost 13 percent but what came as the most surprising was when Kareena-Saif was left to a mere six percent of the votes.

The other categories such as ‘Hottest liplock of the decade’ and superstar of the decade were also put up as a poll.

Emraan and Mallika as usual topped on the rank of the ‘Hottest liplock of the decade’ with a total of 39 percent of the votes for their famous kissing scenes in ‘Murder’.

The starson Abhishek Bachchan, one of the most sought after stars in Bollywood, washed dishes at the Golden Temple in Amritsar as part of his kar seva. The actor was in Amritsar with his sister Shweta Nanda. They visited three prominent gurdwaras.

“Abhishek did some kar seva by cleaning up the premise, and washing the dishes at the langar (in the Golden Temple). There were two other prominent gurdwaras that they visited,” Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com Thursday. The 67-year-old, whose mother Teji Bachhcan belonged to a Sikh family, is happy to see the religious side of his children.

“It is always such a joy to see children putting their minds to faith and devotion. Nothing would give me greater joy and nothing I believe could be better than their achievement in belief and prayer,” he added.

It’s time for Abhishek Bachchan to take care of the family business as well as his acting career! News has it that post the Box Office success of Amitabh-Abhishek starrer ‘Paa’, Bachchans’ have decided that AB Corp will co-produce or distribute all the future films starring Jr B.

Interestingly, Saraswati Creations, a part of Bachchans’ in-house banner, has a stake in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ravana.’ The film is co-produced by Mani Ratnam and is being presented by Reliance Big Entertainment.

However, Abbas Mustan’s Bollywood remake of Abhishek starrer ‘The Italian Job’ is produced by Studio 18 and its overseas distribution will be handled by AB Corp. Grapevine has it that the Bachchans have a stake in Goldie Behl’s upcoming film starring Abhi.

It is widely believed that from now onwards, AB Corp will own full or partial stakes in most of the films associated with Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will ring in the New Year in Goa. A source from the unit says, “Abhishek is shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, in Goa. It has been a month-long schedule. Although it is almost over, the cast and crew will be shooting till the evening of December 31. So Abhishek has decided to bring in New Year in Goa with Ashutosh and others. Aishwarya Rai will be joining him.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya’s presence in Goa is not too sure as they are both busy. However, Amitabh, he might just join them at the last moment. Deepika Padukone is not present in the current schedule and won’t be a part of the New Year celebration. Since Hrithik and his family will also be in Goa, one might see the Roshans and Bachchans bringing in the year together.” Abhishek’s spokesperson says, “He is not shooting on December 31 but he will be spending the New Year with his family.”

Shooting in Goa enjoying every bit of the sun and the sand, Abhishek Bachchan would have least expected that his joy would know no bounds. Apparently his wife, Aishwarya decided to pay him a surprise visit on her day off from her hectic schedule.

It is noted that she had been busy with back to back shoots for Mani Ratna’s Ravana and S Shankar’s Endhiran starring Rajnikanth. Her commitments with a brand she endorses also kept her busy while she wasn’t shooting and most of her time in the recent past was consumed by excessive travelling that she undertook to meet the requirements of the endorsements. All of this, put together was keeping her away from hubby and they couldn’t get to spend quality time with each other.

Abhishek who was busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se was absolutely delighted to see Aishwarya. She was present on the sets the entire day and when the shoot got over, they headed for a cozy dinner and a nice time with each other. Junior Bachchan kept on running to her in between the shots and kept chatting with her though out the breaks. Even Ashutosh was on cloud nine to see her favorite actress at the sets and showed her around like a perfect guide and took her opinion.

Aishwarya Rai says she is fully convinced that actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan will make a good father in real life because he is so “real and rooted”.

“Everybody has been asking me if Abhishek will be a good pa (father) in connection with the release of our forthcoming production ‘Paa’. I think it’s silly for me to be even making the statement. It’s given – I married the man. So obviously I have the conviction in the husband he is or the father he will be,” Aishwarya, 36, told IANS in an interview here.

Asked about Abhishek’s qualities that would make him a good father, Aishwarya laughed and said: “He is very real, very rooted and very human – which I absolutely relate to. His values are evident for everybody to see. We have known each other for so many years.

“I’ve seen him with his niece and nephew since the time they were babies. He is so great with kids and I’ve seen that for the longest time with (his sister Shweta’s children) Navya (Naveli) and Agastya. I have no doubts on him whatsoever.”

Aishwarya, who will be seen with Abhishek in “Ravana”, was in the capital Monday to launch the Longines PrimaLuna, a new watch range inspired by the moon and galaxy.
