Celina Jaitley will be performing at Country Club here on New Year’s Eve, and not at JW Marriott as per earlier reports.

As per Celina’s representative there was some mis-communication about the venue.

“There have been confusing reports recently about my performance on Dec 31. I would therefore like to clarify that I will be performing at Country club and not JW Marriot,” said Celina in a statement.

Celina Jaitley is not quite a successful actress but she has gained success when the matter comes to her professionalism.

Here’s one such instance. Celina Jaitley was busy shooting for ‘Shreemati’ (Kannada version of ‘Aitraaz’) across the exotic locales of Maldives. Unfortunately, the actress landed up with an injury and a stitch on her hand. The actress felt the pain quite unbearable, but couldn’t restrict herself from filming.

When she was made aware that the third schedule of her new movie ‘Chai Garam’ is going to soon commence in Thailand, she showed her professionalism by agreeing to remove the stitch and shoot. Sources say that Celina did not want to put her crew into any kind of trouble and didn’t want to disappoint her team by letting them down. So she decided to forgo her pain and complete the shoot.

Celina Jaitley recently performed in a high voltage song, dance and action show for a music in news wedding (which also saw performances from the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Neha Dhupia amongst others) and has returned enlightened. Other from the basic excitement of being a part of an event that was held on a huge scale, the basic takeaway for her once the show commenced was the ’spirit of team work’.

“This was for the first time ever where I did a show of this scale. A successful team work was of utmost importance here”, says Celina who would soon be seen in ‘Paying Guest’, “I realized that as individual contributors we are nothing until and unless we work together as a team. I had this thing in the back of my mind but it was after ages when it came back strongly to me once I returned from the show.”

Celina Jaitley who has always vociferously campaigned for the rights of the gay community has yet again proved her commitment. This pretty actress did the honour of re-launching India’s first registered Gay magazine called ‘Bombay Dost’ at Oxford Bookstore, Churchgate.

The host of the evening, Vivek Raj Anand, CEO of Humsafar Trust spoke about how it was an overwhelming moment for the entire community as the defunct magazine was being relaunched in a bigger and bolder avatar after 7 long years. He spoke about how they have the support and love of many celebrities but Celina being one of those rare angels who was beautiful through her actions too for openly embracing the community and helping it in everyway.

Celina Jaitley says she agreed to pose in a two-piece bikini for a popular film glossy because she was inspired by international supermodel Kate Moss and not to show “how much one can bare”.

“I had seen this fabulous swimwear shoot of one of my favourite models, Kate Moss. I instantly knew that I had to do something on the same lines. I was really inspired and wanted to do a shoot which is quite beautiful and of course very sensuous, ” Celina, who posed in a bikini for Stardust, told.

So is she happy with the final result?

“Oh definitely yes. I’m glad with the way I’ve been presented because not just have the pictures come out really beautiful, even styling wise they are different from the typical dolled-up way that so many of our actresses shoot, ” said Celina, who was last seen in the hit film “Golmaal Returns”.
