Well that’s what Ranbir Kapoor’s father Rishi Kapoor has to say about his son’s association with actress Deepika Padukone.

Talking about his son Rishi proudly says, “He’s had only two releases, he has a long way to go yet. But what I’m happy about is that he’s very passionate about his work. You have to love what you do, and Ranbir is absolutely engrossed in what he does, passionate about his films, just like his grandfather and his father!”

On shifting the focus to Deepika relationship with Ranbir, Rishi says,“Absolutely normal, I think she’s one of Ranbir’s girlfriends, so what?”

Ranbir Kapoor has been in news for both professional and personal reasons and especially for the supposed tiffs with the sassy girlfriend Deepika Padukone, due to his closeness with Salman Khan’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif. But when quizzed, the actor lambasted all these speculations and revealed that he and Deepika are going smooth, but admits that such gossips have bothered him.

“It bothers me when my personal life is being spoken about, but I tell you that these are all rumors. My family and Deepika know what the truth is (about his relationship with Katrina) and there is nothing to clarify to anyone. Deepika and I are with each other. With her, the relationship is so effortless that it is really great to have her in my life,” he says.

Ranbir continues,” I would like to add, that for me, my career and family tops my priority list. I want to be remembered as an actor and not as somebody’s boyfriend or the one who had affairs with some beautiful women.”

Deepika Padukone who otherwise doesn’t like to talk about her relationship with Ranbir has now come out open to clarify that she has no issues with Ranbir’s mom Neetu Singh.

She said, “I’ve only met her a couple of times and hardly interacted with Ranbir’s parents. I’ve the highest regard for her. Ranbir and I will get to know each other’s parents when the time is right. At the moment we’re both focused on our careers.”
Deepika is obviously irritated with the media for putting her relationship with Ranbir under a scanner so she remarked, “The only time Ranbir and I have spoken is about each other is when we wanted to confess our love. Then they’ve been bringing us together, splitting us up … I’m very secure and happy in our relationship.”

She is young and beautiful. Her style and attitude reflects through her personality. Being a youth icon she has been offered many fashion brands but being choosy Deepika became brand ambassador of Levis.

Speaking about fashion she says, “I think when it comes to fashion there are certain things that will never goes out of style. Anything in black, saris and salwars will never go out of style. Denim is something that is here to stay will never go out of style.”

“I look up to Sushmita when it comes to style.” Deepika gives more importance to comfort when it come to fashion. “I like to wear clothes that make me feel comfortable. I am not very band conscious person. One thing is most important for me is comfort. I have to be comfortable in whatever I am wearing.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are not going steady in their relationship and with so many ups and downs in their life, their parents are also uncertain about their future. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Singh who already dreamt Deepika as her daughter-in-law is now seems unconfident about Deepika. She raised the eyebrows of all when she was quoted as saying, “Deepika is just another girlfriend in Ranbir’s life.” When asked to clarify the reason of her doubts, she explained, “Both of them are very young. It’s a long way to go before marriage. No one knows what future holds for them.”

In many occasions, Neetu spotted with Deepika. They made their first public appearance during the Lakme fashion week and caught the eyes of all. It was also reported that Deepika is the choice of Ranbir’s parents and they even accepted her as their bahu. But now with so many differences in Ranbir and Deepika’s life, their future of being one seems swinging. Not only their parents but Ranbir and Deepika themselves are uncertain about what future has stored for them.

Indian film stars are the latest hot steppers at the red carpets around the world. A day after Anil Kapoor and AR Rahman won accolades for Slumdog Millionaire at the Golden Globe Awards, the cast of Chandni Chowk to China were strutting their stuff in London’s Leicester Square.

And a special appearance by Amitabh Bachchan added glamour to the fourth overseas premiere of the film, which releases on January 16.

“I have really enjoyed myself. I have spent an hour with my fans, signing autographs. I am here because of my fans,” Akshay said.

While actor Roger Yuan who plays Chiang in the film said, “It was a brilliant experience. I loved working with Akshay, Nikhil and Deepika.”

Recently, Farah accompanied Deepika to fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s office to finalise her look in Billoo Barber. Manish even confirmed this saying,“Farah and Deepika had come to my office to zero in on Deepika’s look in Billoo Barber.”
