If it weren’t for a failed exam, Kangna Ranaut wouldn’t be breaking a million hearts; she’d be medically treating them.

If only, the Himachali belle’s first film was called Doctor, not Gangster, it would have been oddly autobiographical, for in real life the actress wished to practise medicine. An out-and-out geek, Kangna was a student of Science in thick glasses, swamped with laws of physics and happily so. Not even remotely interested in a sport or an extra curricular activity, she would mostly be seen lost in her books.

“I was brought up being told that medicine was a noble choice of career, that I should grow up and be a doctor so I could treat the poor for free. I believed in that, wholeheartedly because that’s how kids in those days were trained to ‘be good and do good’” says Kangna. And luck too was on her side as she aced all her exams in school. Until she failed one Chemistry unit test in 12th standard. “I was made to stand outside my class and that’s where I started thinking differently.”

Rakesh Roshan’s KITES is certainly one of the most anticipated and awaited films of the year. Not only will the audience get to see their favourite super hero Hrithik Roshan after a gap of almost two years but this time around he is paired opposite the hot and sensuously beautiful Spanish starlet, Barbara Mori, which makes KITES a hot proposition, literally speaking!

However, not much is being written about our own National Award winner, Kangna Ranaut, who is also essaying an important character in the film, nor has she been seen in the promos that are out on various channels and portals. So, what does our Himachal beauty thinks about KITES?

Well, Kangna is honest enough to admit that her role in KITES is a short one, but says that it is very important to the narrative and adds that she is extremely happy to be a part of such a prestigious, international project. She also proclaims that KITES will be a trend setter; as it has the complete look and feel of a Hollywood project, like (for example) its technical aspects which are as superior as any Hollywood film. Certainly Kangna this sure reflects in the promos and trailers of KITES which seem to be getting hotter with each passing day!

Kangana Ranaut has come out with a statement, after media went berserk splashing photos of her and Dino Morea kissing each other at Sanjay Dutt’s anniversary bash.

Talking the kiss, Kangana says, “I know Dino for a while now. We’ve met socially and even had a few laughs but to make it seem like there is something more is terrible.”

Kangana insists that her kiss with Dino was very harmless and is not passionate kiss as portrayed by the media.

When the talk shifts from her kiss to her relationship with Dino, she says, “I’m done with relationships.I have 10 movies to complete this year, and will perhaps take on another dozen next year. What I’m trying to say is that I’m completely swamped by work. I have no desire to get into another relationship. I’m done with those.”

Kangana also adds that she won’t date now, she will only marry, “Marriage is what it will be. I may marry three years down the line or perhaps even five years down the line. But I’m certainly not interested in the dating scene.”

At times Bollywood stars have to face some of the problems due to some star-struck fans. Recently the gorgeous actress Katrina Kaif’s fan committed suicide just for the fact that he was unable to meet his favourite star. And now another actress Kangana Ranaut had to face the problems due to a fan of her.

A young fan reportedly went on a hunger strike and demanded to meet “Kangana Ranaut” because he wanted to hand over a personal letter to her.

Sources disclose that the guy in question hung around Leena Mogre’s gym where Kangana goes for exercises regularly. However, the security guards at the gym did not allow him to endeavour anywhere close to the actress.

Well, how long this strike of the fan will continue only time will tell but in the meantime Kangana would be feeling happy for herself as her fan following is increasing day by day.

This week’s guest on Sallu’s show Dus Ka Dum are actress Kangana Ranaut and famous face reader Janardhan Baba.

A source from Dus Ka Dum set says, “She had a grand entry with the other ramp models on the stage. Her catwalk was oozing confidence. The film ‘Fashion’ has really given huge make over to this beauty.”

“She enjoyed the episode with Sallu’s company. They both shared a hearty laugh and danced on Salman’s song, Tenu leke main jawanga… from Salam-e-Ishq.”

Janardhan Baba also did some future prediction for Kangana Ranaut, “He said that the actress has a ghostly dosh in her kundali. Hearing this Kangana immediately replied, “Panditji don’t say this on TV, as hearing this nobody will propose marriage to me”.

After playing a model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion and walking the ramp a number of times on and off the screen, one would think Kangana Ranaut has mastered the art, but sometimes even a pro can falter – like she actress did, when she tripped on her clothes while sashaying down the ramp in a Suneet Varma creation.
“The show was nice and the collection was really good. It was nice to be a part of Suneet’s show. He is my favorite designer and I’ve done Kites with him. I was very glad to be a part of this show. It was a great show,” says Kangana.

Talking of her latest film Kites, one wonders why Kangana was not seen promoting the film at Cannes along side its lead pair Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan. When asked whether she felt that Barbara was stealing the limelight, Kangana says diplomatically, “Barbara will come to promote Kites because she is the main cast of the film and the film is all about lovers, so it will be good. People will really like the film.”

Kangana Ranaut have till now done the kind of roles where she was seen crying, weeping and grimacing could be soon seen in a hilarious mood.

As the grapevine suggest, Kangana is soon doing a comedy movie ‘No Problem.’ The movie is being produced by Anil Kapoor. Kangana is quite excited about the film and has pinned her hope on the success of the film.

According to Kangana, she was really grateful to Anil Kapoor for having shown the faith in her for the comic role. Kangana had a blast during the shooting of the film. The film is directed by Anees Bazmi and Sushmita Senn will also feature in the movie.

Kangana Ranaut is all set to star in the biggest flick of her careers, as she is slated to play the role of legendary beautiful actress Madhubala in a flick which is also about underworld don Haji Mastan who was head over heels in love with Madhubala.

The flick called Once Upon a Time in Mumbai is being produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.

A source says, “Kangana’s selection is a good thing as although Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi were on board, the producers couldn’t shoot for a long time because Luthria was unable to select an actress. Only recently did Luthria and Ekta settle on Kangana.”

The buzz is that Kangana Ranaut has stripped completely in her upcoming horror flick ‘Raaz – The Mystery Continues’.

Well, this girl sure has played her cards right. She very well knows what the audience wants from her.

The movie is now under the Censor scanner for a nude scene that has been filmed on her.

The scene shows Kangana in a bathtub. According to reports, Kangana had shot the scene with a skin coloured body suit. But then the audiences would still think that Kangana has bared it all for the scene.

Shekhar Suman is not interested in talking about his 20-year-old son Adhyayan’s reported affair with actress Kangana Ranaut. Instead, he talks about how all the films made by his production house will star his son.

Shekhar launched his production company Windmill Entertainment in association with UTV last year and is planning to produce television shows and films.

“Hopefully, we will be producing a couple of films next year which will have Adhyayan. In fact, all my films will have Adhyayan, ” Shekhar said.

“Every producer who has an actor-son makes films for him. Rakesh Roshan does it for his son(Hrithik) as well as many other producers. Why shouldn’t I?” he asked.

Adhyayan, whose debut film “Haal-E-Dil” was a box office dud, will be trying his luck again in Mahesh Bhatt’s “Raaz”.
