New Delhi media was in for a shock as Kareena Kapoor staged a walk out of a press conference in the city where she was present to promote her upcoming film Kambakkht Ishq. Visibly upset and fuming, she marched towards her suite when a female reporter questioned her if she would be willing to go totally nude for the camera if the script demanded it.

An onlooker at the venue said, “The question shocked her. Just a few minutes back, she had patiently handled queries regarding her professional life. She had also commented about wearing a bikini in Tashan and now Kambakkht Ishq mainly because the ’script demanded it’. Though averse to doing so in future projects, she admitted that she would keep the subject and story in mind and would do ‘anything’ that is required by the script.”

Mum is the word for Kareena Kapoor and the actress would go to any length to keep her mother happy. So she has decided to stay away from bikini scenes as her mother, yesteryear heroine Babita, didn’t like her in a two-piece suit in “Tashan”.

“No more bikini shots for me. I mean I’m very happy with the kind of attention and adulation I got for getting into a bikini in ‘Tashan’. And I wasn’t uncomfortable wearing it. Why should I be? I’ve the physique to carry it off. But that’s it.

“My mother didn’t like me in a bikini. Also the kind of work that I’m doing now in ‘3 Idiots’ or Rensil D’Silva’s film doesn’t require that kind of exposure,” Kareena told IANS.

With Kareena being extremely busy with her career and beau Saif Ali Khan, mom Babita has a lot of time on hand.

Kareena Kapoor had backed out of the IIFA performance after preparing for the act. Bebo rehearsed for the song ‘Marjani’ from Billu under Shiamak Davar’s guidance and she even selected her costume for the show but at the eleventh hour she walked out to be with beau Saif. She will accompany boyfriend Saif Ali Khan to England to watch the T20 world cup matches. Saif and Bebo will leave for London tomorrow.

The reason of Kareena’s backing out is that she is not happy with the decision of the organizers. She wanted the show to open up with her performance or wind up with hers. But the organizers are not in favor of any of her idea and they have decided to open the grand event with the performance of the Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya.

Kareena’s business manager says, “It’s true that Kareena is no longer performing at the awards event. There were certain contractual issues which didn’t work out and we are not at liberty to say what those issues were. They’re basic nitty-gritties that didn’t work out in time.”

Vivek Oberoi is back being the talk of the town, first he made a splash with his RGV’s Rakta Charitra look and now he is being linked to famous sitar player Anoushka Shankar. Apparently Vivek is always being pressurised by Kareena to get married.

He says, ‘The pressure (of getting married) is on, not only from my family but from even Bebo.”

“Every time we go out for dinner, she would shake her head and tell me – ‘find a nice girl and settle down’ and I would hide behind Saif to dodge the bullet. We had some great laughs.”

‘I’m single because I am waiting to find the girl who will make me want to never be single again.’

Kareena Kapoor who recently asked her ex love Shahid Kapur to stay away from Priyanka Chopra and move on in life has received a tight slap from Priyanka verbally. Kareena who further went to say that Shahid and Priyanka are dragging her and Saif’s name to publicize ‘Kaminey’ has further intensified Priyanka’s anger and she responded hardly. She hits back at Kareena and gave an appropriate reply to her false accusation.

Priyanka said, “Kaminey is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj whose directorial credentials don’t need any introduction and it is produced by UTV which is amongst the best production houses in the country today. I have seen the film and I feel it’s a brilliant piece of work. All those who will see the film will definitely love it. We as the team of ‘Kaminey’ are extremely well equipped and capable of publicizing the film and don’t require any outside help for the same.”

Kareena Kapoor can give the energetic SRK a tough competition, as the leggy lass recently shot for 36 hours at a stretch without even a single break.

Kareena is currently filming Kambaqt Ishq, 3 Idiots, Mr and Mrs Khanna, Agent Vinod and Rensil D’Silva’s untitled flick.

A source reveals, “She just went rushing from one set to another, shooting continuously without complaining about tiredness or lack of sleep. The unit members of her films were saying this is what stars are made of.”

Kareena Kapoor will sport a dress worth Rs.800,000 for a song in “Kambakkht Ishq”. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had specially ordered it for the actress from Paris.

“When the song was completed and the whole crew had a look, it looked very beautiful and eye catching. But most importantly everyone’s eyes were stuck at seeing Kareena’s dress. Kareena was looking gorgeous. The dress cost Rs.800,000,” said a source close to the producer.

The filmmaker has also gifted the dress to Kareena as she looked really pretty wearing it.

“Sajid Nadiadwala is a wonderful person at heart. He always makes sure that his cast and crew is happy. Kareena was happy after receiving such an extra-ordinary gift from Sajid bhai. She was short of words to express her feeling after she received the gift.” added the source.

Kareena Kapoor, who has received as many as four awards in just one month, says plans of her marriage to Saif Ali Khan may not happen for at least two years as her career is going great guns.

“It won’t happen for the next two years for sure. Am I crazy to get married now when so many wonderful things are happening to my career? Saif himself is ultra-busy trying to set up his production house. Marriage can wait. I’m just happy to have him by my side. I’ve got the best guy any girl can ever have.

“Right now I’m so busy I don’t have time to sleep properly. I haven’t even had time to move into my new house,” Kareena told us in an interview.

Overwhelmed after receiving four awards, she said: “Who doesn’t like attention, recognition and awards? I’ve got four awards in a month beginning with the environment award I got from Erin Brockovich, then two youth icon awards from Rotary International and Stardust. And now on Tuesday I was honoured by FICCI which Yash Chopra gave to me.

It seems Kareena Kapoor has become too interested in the Khans of Bollywood. After making Saif Ali Khan her beau, she’s her eyes on none other than mamu ka bhanja Imran Khan. Apparently, Bebo liked Imran so much at the Filmfare Awards night that she wants to do a film with him.

Buzz is that Bebo is quite charmed by Imran Khan and wants to work with him. Sources reveal that despite the Kidnap debacle, Dhoom director Sanjay Gadhvi wants to work with Imran in his next and cast Kareena opposite him.

Even though the actors haven’t signed on the dotted line yet, Bebo is quite excited about sharing screen space with the young Khan
