“There are a lot of sides to me that are yet to be tapped. After having done ‘Raajneeti’, it isn’t that I am going to do just female-oriented roles because the film has worked in my favour. I want to keep exploring and experimenting with characters and filmmakers,” Katrina told to web media on phone from Spain.

“In fact, right now, I would love to have a one boy-one girl Yashji type of love story in hand or, say, play a loud, boisterous girl – something on the lines of Hemaji’s role in ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’. Those are fun and interesting roles too. Why limit myself?” asked the 25-year-old.

She is basking in the success of Prakash Jha’s “Raajneeti” where she wowed the audiences as a young, madly-in-love girl who becomes a pawn in the game of politics. In the last 10 minutes of the film, she is seen playing a chief minister and manages to leave a strong impact on viewers.

The most she enjoys ordering is clothes. “So far I could only shop abroad. And that in places where there weren’t too many Indians. And I’d be so tense about making the best of those rare opportunities to shop away from home that I’d forget everything I wanted to buy”.

Katrina recently shifted to her new home and she is busy filling her home with furniture and other accessories. “I had to depend on my mom or my sisters to get me stuff for my home. If you see my home you’ll see it is really bare ¦ almost functional. Now that’s changing.” Kat chirps, “It’s amazing how much happiness you can buy by simply doing your own shopping.” She has never hosted party at her home but now she wants to arrange a party and invite all her friends.

A recent research, done by mBit Infotech, a pioneer in VAS Services, revealed that Akon is the most searched and downloaded popular icon/personality in the mobile search and download space. In the Bollywood category, Katrina’s mobile popularity is way ahead of Shahrukh’s as revealed by the research.

The research is based on the searches performed by over 1,20,000 users of mBit in the first quarter of 2010 (Jan – April). The results showed that ‘SEX’ is still the-most-popular-searched Keyword, out of 6730 unique keywords, which accounts to 30% of the total searches performed including words porn, porno, naked etc.

Music is the second most searched for keyword accounting to the 19% of the total searches. Mostly international music icons like Akon, Linkin Park, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Rihanna and Michael Jackson top the list in this category. Also, Sports specially Cricket along with Movies & Videos are the third most searched for category which is 15% of the total searches.

Our sources reaveal that, Akshay-Katrina, might have sizzled on the silver screen a lot many times, but this hasn’t stopped Kat from turning down an upcoming film with the hunk. Reports reveal that Katrina recently chose to opt out of Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank You’, also starring Akshay Kumar, who has also been her lucky mascot. Our sources inform that Katrina turned down the offer politely as she’s already working with Akshay in ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and could not manage two Akshay flicks together.

According to an industry insider, the shooting of ‘Thank You’ is currently going on in Canada and Anees is still trying hard to get Katrina on board. Grapevine has it that the filmmaker sends a representative to meet Katrina almost every day in order to somehow convince the actress to at least make a guest appearance in the film.

‘Thank You’ will also star Sonam Kapoor opposite Bobby Deol. However, now that Kat has declined the offer, the search for Akshay’s leading lady in the venture is still on!

One must accept the fact that, Katrina loves experimenting with different roles.

Katrina says,

“I always wanted to do something unusual in life. I always used to make a world in my head and live in that. I wanted to be and do something unusual.
