Drama queen Rakhi has a lot to say about her new found boyfriend-fiance-screen husband Elesh. From accusing him to be dumb and egg-faced to accusing him of not having money, Rakhi has said alot on camera. The only person who maintained a dignified silence was Elesh, absolutely clueless about Rakhi’s nautanki for little airtime on TV.

Finally he broke his silence and told the media people that he tried his best to make the relationship work but due Rakhi never cooperated.

He says, “I tried my best to understand this woman, but failed. I tried to know her past, I tried to understand her moves. I tried everything, but failed. On the contrary, Rakhi never tried to understand where I am coming from. Her notion about NRIs is so limited. I think it is based only on watching movies and TV. Rakhi needs to understand that real life is different from reel life.”

They may be doing reality shows as a couple, but Rakhi Sawant has decided not to marry her Canadian fiancé Elesh Parujanwala citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

As Rakhi is contract-bound, her close friend reveals, “They were never really meant to marry. In the last episode of Pati Patni Aur Woh, they will declare that they’ve called off their marriage.”

Rakhi refrains from answering whether she will actually marry Elesh or not. But hinting clearly that nothing of that sort will happen, she says, “Bahut farq hai hum dono mein. Elesh and I belong to different cultures.

He thinks West, while I think East. I don’t think an Indian girl should marry a boy with Western values (sic). During this new reality show, there were a lot of ups and downs between Elesh and me… well, there were more downs than ups.”

India’s biggest and sometimes most loved Drama Queen, our very own Rakhi Sawant has finally found true love Elesh Parunjanwala. But typical of Rakhi, nothing comes in her life without a dash of controversy.

We hear that cracks have already started to appear in the much hyped relationship. In a shockingly candid interview, Rakhi revealed to leading daily that it’s not just the obvious communication issues with Elesh, but her thinking and illiteracy that are clashing with her polished beau. She believes Canadian fiancé Elesh Parujanwala and she are not made for each other.

“I have met Elesh just twice after the show. Once we went out for a coffee and next when he came over to my house on Sunday for a party I had thrown for friends. I hardly know him well enough. How can I say he is the one for me?”, wonders Rakhi who has recently converted into Christianity.

Sounding excited after her engagement to NRI Businessman Elesh Parunjwala, item girl Rakhi Sawant says she wants all her friends, including ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, to attend her wedding but will not invite her mother.

“I completely forgive Abhishek Awasthi. I was very surprised to know that he showed up on Sunday for my scheduled wedding. Surprised and touched. If I knew, I’d have welcomed him. Yesterday, he was my boyfriend. Today, he’s my friend,” Rakhi told IANS.

But she hasn’t forgiven her mother.

“Please, all that nautanki on television for five minutes can’t take away the pain I’ve gone through. As far as I’m concerned that chapter of my life is closed,” she said.

Putting the ‘Nach Baliye 3′ controversy behind her, actress Rakhi Sawant is back on entertainment channel Star Plus as one of the participants of its new reality show ‘Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano’.

The outspoken actress, who alongwith ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, lost the show’s final to Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali, had accused the channel of cheating her. Rakhi had created a ruckus in front of chief guest Salman Khan during the show’s final and vowed never to work with Star Plus again.

“Star Plus is like home. ‘Nach Baliye 3′ has given a boost to my career and I cannot forget it. I apologise for my conduct in the past,” Rakhi said when quizzed about the issue here on Tuesday. The item girl said this was first time she would be seen doing stand-up comedy and gags in disguise.

As Salman’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’ is all setting up to wrap up, it has a lot of guest celebrities in store for its viewers. After Jeetendra and Tushaar Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Lara Dutta and Rakhi Sawant will be seen sharing the television screen with Salman in the show.

Salman is known to get along very well with his celebrity guests and this was evident with the way Salman was made the studio echoed with laughter and enjoyment as entertained everybody with spotty one-liners. One thing which was very very obvious was Salman’s cold behavior with Lara. He mingled quite well with Rani and Rakhi, but not with Lara Dutta. (more…)

This week has been really tough on actress Shilpa Shetty, who is hosting the second season of “Bigg Boss”. First Jade Goody’s traumatic adieu and then item girl Rakhi Sawant’s allegation that a contestant on the show has been changed because of her manoeuvres.

The show went on air Aug 17 on newly launched channel Colors.

When questioned about Rakhi’s allegation, Shilpa told IANS: “I don’t even want to talk about her. But I was very hurt. I really like Rakhi. Why was she talking this way about me without knowing the facts? How does she know the facts about how contestants were chosen?
