The ‘Saawariya’ actress Sonam Kapoorrefuses to work with Ranbir Kapoorand Deepika Padukonestarrer film. After the debacle of ‘Saawariya’, Sonam Kapoor has decided not to act with Ranbir Kapoor again as in their debut film, Ranbir grabbed all the limelight and she left unnoticed.

Sonam also did not want to share screen space with Deepika as she does not get well with the actress. She also knew very well that if she stars with Ranbir and Deepika, the couple will grab all the attention and she will not be able to charm the audience. Audience will love to see the ex couple more than Sonam who till date fails to deliver a hit.

Sonam will next be seen in ‘I Hate Love Stories’ with Imran Khan.

Our very own Deepika Padukone has reportedly given her nod to romance her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor onscreen again. So while most of Bollywood ex-lovers refuse to share the podium, Dips and Ranbir are out to do the unthinkable.

So what caused this magic? Well it’s director Anurag Basu’s flick ‘Khamoshi’. Ever since Katrina walked out of the film over the inclusion of Priyanka Chopra, Basu has been hunting for a second female lead. And after much thought Basu approached Deepika.

Confirming the news, a source said, “Anurag has approached Deepika. However, she still needs to take the final call. Ranbir plays the lead role and after their bitter break-up last year, they have not spoken to each other. However, when Deepika got the offer, she was not surprised and is looking at the film professionally. She doesn’t want her personal equations to come in the way. Deepika will now have a final meeting before taking a call.”

If you are a real fan of Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif then come this Friday, the curtain will close on Dance India Dance 2. A feisty battle is expected between the four finalists – Dharmesh Yelande, Shakti Mohan, Punit and Binny Sharma. Adding glitz to glamour is the cast of Rajneethi. Present will be Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

Earlier, It was buzzed that Hrithik Roshan will be the special guest but the channel has honed on to Kapoor and Katrina. The duo will be there to promote their upcoming flick Rajneethi.

After crossing big challenges given by three mentors Geeta kapur, Remo D Souza and Terrance Louis, four contestants, Dharmesh Yelande, Shakti Mohan, Punit and Binny Sharma are now looking forward to grab the ‘Suhneri takdir ki topi’ and the title of ‘dancing super star’. The evening will see outstanding performance from the mentors too.

The grand finale takes place on 23 April.

Ranbir and Katrina might be avoiding each other in front of the cameras but the two seems to be enjoying great time secretly.

Recently, Ranbir and Katrina had come to Delhi for promotion of their upcoming flick Raajneeti. After the press event was over, they quietly went to Arjun Rampal’s nightclub in Delhi and hit the dance floor.

Besides the duo, Nana Patekar and Manoj Bajpayee too got on floor.

“Everyone danced till morning. We had a blast. While shooting for Raajneeti, we used to constantly joke, poke fun at each other and at ourselves while doing those heavy duty scenes on camera,” said Arjun

Ranbir Kapoor, who has replaced superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador of Pepsi and actor Hrithik Roshan in ITC’s John Players, feels obliged to get the opportunity to take forward their legacy.

“As far as replacement is concern, Shah Rukh Khan is a legend and his contribution to Pepsi was immense. I am taking forward his legacy. As far as John Players is concerned, Hrithik Roshan is a style icon for whom I have immense respect. I believe that I am fortunate enough to get a chance to take his legacy forward,” Ranbir told reporters after the logo launch of John Players at ITC Hotel here today.

Ranbir maintains that comfort should be the primary criteria while choosing clothes.

“It’s not about wearing expensive or brands. It’s something that makes you feel comfortable. There are no strict rules. It’s about what you want to wear and how you carry it,” said Ranbir.

Ranbir Kapoor, one of the brand ambassadors of Pepsi, will play the role of a butler in a new TV commercial for the beverage.

The 27-year-old will be seen wearing a crisp white shirt, a tie and a waistcoat with a funky spiked hairdo for the commercial that will be aired soon.

Ranbir is happy with the commercial, which was shot in a mansion in Los Angeles.

“Shooting was definitely a ‘wow’ experience. I love the way it has turned up right from the script, the sets, the whole look. With Pepsi I have always got a chance to experiment and try new interesting characters. Each commercial brings with it a new excitement,” Ranbir said in a statement.

The starson Ranbir Kapoor won’t have to learn sign language from scratch for his role as a deaf and mute character in Anurag Basu’s film. The actor, who assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Black, spent ample time with Ayesha Kapoor and Rani Mukerji when they were being trained on the sets by a teacher for the physically disabled. He had also visited several institutions for the hearing and speech impaired to research on ‘Black’.

The real challenge now lies in creating a musical score that would amply express the simmering discontent behind Ranbir’s silence in the film. Quite like what Laxmikant-Pyarelal did for Jaya Prada in the 1970s in Sargam, which coincidentally starred Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor. While filmmakers Bhansali and Gulzar have made songless films like Black and respectively about deaf and mute protagonists, Anurag Basu is going the other way with a full-on musical to bring out his deaf and mute hero’s emotions and feelings.

Consequently, music director Pritam Chakraborty is a worried man as he now faces the biggest challenge of his career in friend Anurag Basu’s new film starring Ranbir. Incidentally, the director and composer live in the same building.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor was once a couple. They often hanged out together and even shared a sizzling chemistry in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ but their romance was short lived and both split-up. Though personally they are no more together, professionally Deepika Padukone wanted to continue with Ranbir Kapoor and she said that she has no issue working with him as Ranbir is truly professional and has immense talent in acting.

Rubbishing the rumor of not willing to act together again, Deepika said, “Completely untrue. I would love to work with Ranbir. And Ranbir is a professional too. These are mere rumours and shouldn’t be entertained.”

Asking the question as why she has not signed any film opposite him, the OSO actress quips, “Ranbir and I have decided that till such time we aren’t offered a script that inspires us, we won’t work together. I am keen to work with him. So is he. We looked great in BACHNA AE HASEENO.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra , who are shooting for “Anjaana Anjaani”, are set to meet Rocky-Rambo superstar Sylvester Stallone. In fact, one of the temptations for them to do Sajid Nadiadwala’s “Anjaana Anjaani” was that the producer was a friend of Stallone who featured in his last film “Kambakkht Ishq”.

“Ranbir and Priyanka definitely want to meet him. I’m flying down to Las Vegas to join them on January 27. We’ll be meeting Stallone on the 4th or 5th of February,” Nadiadwala told.

Earlier, Nadiadwala had taken Saif Ali Khan to meet Stallone in Los Angeles. Sajid and his son Subhaan were supposed to meet Stallone during the New Year. But the actor injured his neck and the appointment was cancelled. Now a new date is being worked out.

And Priyanka and Ranbir insist on accompanying their producer for the meeting.
