An unintentional blow from Ranbir Kapoor left Katrina Kaif injured on the sets of a Rajkumar Santoshi film.

It happened last week when Asia’s newly voted sexiest woman was shooting with Bollywood’s new pin-up boy for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani on an elaborate set at Madh Island.

The duo was shooting a chase sequence in which they were followed by some goons. In the scene, Ranbir suddenly turns around to face the bad guys. However, when the actor did so, his hand inadvertently hit Katrina on her face and the delicate actress was left with a bleeding nose.

According to reports, Ranbir immediately apologized to the actress, but she took no offence because she knew the blow wasn’t intended.

However, Katrina was in pain and had to be given first-aid on the sets.

Katrina Kaif it is said has signed a two film deal with UTV recently.

The first film will be directed by director duo Abbas Mustan while the details of the second film is being worked on. The actress had earlier signed a deal with Studio 18 too.

Recently, rumors were abuzz about Katrina Kaif being offered a dance reality show on a leading television channel.

A source revealed, “Katrina’s popularity is growing larger and larger by the day. Not only is she topping all the opinion polls and popularity charts, she’s also being offered whopping amounts of money for endorsements, films, what have you and now the latest being a TV show.

A news report claimed that Katrina had already given the nod to this TV show as she was being offered a multi- crore deal. It is true that she’s besieged with offers and she has turned down many. She has no dates to spare for new films as she is busy shooting nonstop for the biggest of banners.”

In the latest issue of ‘People’ magazine, the lovey-dovey couple confessed about how they met and the person who was ‘actually’ instrumental in bringing them together!

Lovebirds Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor spoke candidly about their love as they nestled to pose for the cover of the People magazine’s August issue, which is to hit the stands on August 4.

The glamorous couple of Bollywood, looked radiant and flashed their million dollar smiles as they spoke indulgently about each other.

Talking about their first meeting, Deepika said that make-up artist Doris introduced them for the first time. Ranbir said that he fell for the gorgeous actress as soon as he saw her while Deepika took some time to respond.

The couple’s first date was at PVR Juhu, where they watched a Hollywood film together. Ranbir’s first gift to Deepika was a grand piano, which is her most cherished treasure.

Deepika confessed that they started seeing each other on February 23 and the pursuing by Ranbir started in the month of January in Sydney where they were together for an entire month for the shooting of Bachna Ae Haseeno .

Clearly, the couple is in no mood to keep the affair under wraps. Deepika has reportedly got a tattoo made on the nape of her neck that spells the initials of Ranbir – RK, which she reportedly showed to a very close friend.

The couple denied that they have kissed each other and Ranbir added, “I was meeting her after a month at the Bangkok airport. I just hugged her and gave her a peck. I didn’t realise there were cameras around. The news channels made a big deal out of it, and it was kind of hard. We are private people and it’s hard to see that moment repeatedly being flashed on screen. It was weird, wrong and unfair.”

Saawariya is a Bollywood film to be released in November 2007, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It will be released by Sony Pictures, and will thus be the first Indian movie produced by a Hollywood production house.[1] It is based on Fyodor Dostoevsky’s short story, White Nights. The lead roles will be played by débutantes Ranbir Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor’s son) and Sonam Kapoor (Anil Kapoor’s daughter). The film also stars Salman Khan and Rani Mukerji in supporting roles. Saawariya is expected to hit the screens in Diwali 2007.

The protagonist is young 22 year old man who is a dreamer. He comes across a young lady and their story begins. Days are as bright as night. The story is based on four nights that the protagonists spend together.
